Quote from BenjaminGary >> 13-3 with WC coach/captain. I am a spread team by design. this tourney showed the value of having at least one captain/coach in each scheme. Yeah, I've been working on 1 captain per scheme and maintaining offensive players to keep each scheme fairly well-stocked and I'm happy to have that pay off. Would still be nice to have the option of 4 keeping offensive lineups so you don't have to keep swapping and it's easier to keep track of who's spare and who's not.

I am also at ~1100 with WC; it's probably my weakest scheme (5-6 elite WC players; only 1 lineman). I went 13-3 to get to the max. But it's a total crapshoot as far as drawing beatable opponents. I had about 10 walkovers and was .500 or so on the reasonable matchups; had to use my free extra life but what can you do. I can't imagine trying to do this with a sub-85 OVR team. (Mine is ~89-90).

My head absolutely refuses to parse "B. Sanders" as anything other than Bernie. Which is mildly entertaining now that that's the name that shows up on, like, 70% of MM plays.

Quote from NotACow42 >> He's amazing, but you'll feel a compelling urge to never upgrade any of the players around him once you put him on your roster. This didn't get enough credit for the glorious comment it was.

Quote from shockeruni >> Quote from lpiplp >> Note that, unless my math is off, the slice voucher is worth less than the bread: 1/8 of 150 = 18.75, vs 25 for the rolls. In any event, I agree each Pastry completion is worth somewhere between 150 and 160 depending on the exact chance of a pie. The slice voucher is worth 25 plus 1/8 of 150 if the achievement has not been completed.

Quote from Rshoots >> The Pastry event generates ~155 each if you ahve not completed the Pie Voucher achievement. (Not only is there is a chance to get a Pie slice Voucher, you can pull a full Pie about 10% of the time). I've not been keeping as careful track as I should be, but I feel like 1 pie in 10-20 completions of the pastry pack sounds believable. (Including once when I got two pies, which suggests they're just rolling a die for each of the 7 slots independently.) So I think the odds of each slot having a pie are something like 1% (if each slot has a 1/100 shot at a pie, you should get a pie about 7% of the time, if it's 1.5% then it's 10%)

I used up a bunch on the Aces event a few days ago because it wasn't very active; basically I wait until there's one of the blitz events that I can re-run a bunch of times, hopefully for something useful (Aces or Captains or maybe cash) and I knock it down so I am not wasting blitz points gains for a few days.

Best part of the voting promo - picking up all the free cash Worst part - accidentally clicking on the worthless 1000-MC heavyweight pack. Twice. FML.

I'd be more excited about the new aces if the best way to get crowns wasn't broken. I miss out on 333 crowns every three days because third-day survival doesn't register.
