iirc they do have an expiration date on them, but on the other hand, at the end of m17 (i didnt play 18), they had solos with an expiration date, but they never actually expired, so who knows

i have never seen anything about an AH bot for console madden, and like everyone else has said, the app would be the most obvious cause for this.   but that said, they do have a bot that runs the AH on madden mobile, and periodically it would freak out and start buying cards at far above market value.  the general consensus at the time was that coin sellers had figured out how to manipulate the bot's expected card value.  for instance, long after UL had come out, legend tokens for a only a handful of players, which no longer had any value, were getting insta-bought at like 20k+, rather than the 2k or so they were actually worth.  there were tons of threads on the topic of the AH bot over on the madden mobile boards.    EA didn't keep the bot itself secret, but they certainly kept how it worked to themselves.

agree on the speed & catching mlb for that formation.  not sure what his price is now, but oop ironman ladanian tomlinson has been so clutch at getting picks in the middle of the field at CPU and at least used to be pretty cheap.
