It seems like a lot of you think the mods affect whoever you assign it to when they do their drives on offense. As far as I understood it the mods are only for defense. Example, you assign the short pass play mod to player#1…it doesn’t mean that they can only do short pass plays when using up their 10 drives, it means that anyone that goes against their defense trying to capture that square on the board, can only use short pass plays. The only exceptions are the 3 global mods which give a bonus to all your teams players one offensive, one defensive and one coaches bonus.

That’s what I did, minus the short passes. I did 2 passes down the right ran the clock to 2 seconds kicked a 20 yard or less FG…easy.

Thanks for your reply, but that is sort of the issue and why this game has gone downhill. We all have the same issues that we deal with in game, but we do consider them “issues” for a reason…because they should be addressed and remedied, but they never are and all those little things that happen to us daily, make you frustrated and in general make you not want to play the game. I mean some of these little bugs, glitches and issues, have been around from when I started playing. Which was a long time ago when they had counter plays and you had to put in and take out your boosts all the time. Maybe 2016. Even though I didn’t like some of the elements of the game back then either, it was way more fun than this rinse and repeat.

I didn’t take advantage of anything and never have, but coming from the same company that threatens to ban your account every time you call about an issue with coins or cards…I’m not sure why I do the right thing, when they do not. Over the years I’ve called in about missing coins or in one case an expensive card or something and every time, the operator says something to the effect of “if we can’t find what you are talking about, then we will ban your account”. I guess it’s most likely because people try to call and scam. The operators have never demonstrated that they can see or even know what I’m talking about while explaining my issue, and on 1 of the 3 occasions I wasn’t positive I hadn’t spent my coins and misremembered the amount and just wanted them to check because it was half the coins I thought I should have had…but I have declined them investigating further because I’m almost positive they wouldn’t do good investigative work and they would ban me because they couldn’t find what I was talking about. So now the last few times something has happened, I don’t even bother calling which is probably the desired result.

I abused the hell out of it…not by buying 3rd party coins, but by sniping myself a competitive team without having to spend any real money. I think that’s the real reason why the AH is gone.

It would be helpful, in my opinion, to put everyone’s lineup in automatic order from top to bottom starting with the highest overall to the lowest overall. That is how most organized leagues select their matchups for the most part. Would make it easier to just tell new people to play the person directly across from them. Their best vs. your best and so on down the line.

I always thought they should have an invite option along with the scout and film options. So much easier than trying to find a person with a commonly used name with the invite function which wants to “correct” your spelling of usernames or shows you 100 inactive accounts. Also always wondered why they didn’t add a few search filters on the invite page like Level or overall…or at least automatically filter out all the obvious inactive accounts before it shows you the results. I mean you’re obviously not looking to invite Level1 people to your league.

It would be nice if you could just get someone to put an application in. I’ve had one bot since the beginning and have had 0 applicants. One of the spaces I filled with an invite has now gone missing but I’m not getting rid of him (better defense than bot) until I fill the bot spot. Then if it goes like this one has, I’ll have an empty spot for over a week and someone else will go missing again.

Yes, I used to compare players this way too.

It doesn’t seem like it, especially if everything resets each week.
