No he is not even close to the best sprinter in this country. If we go just based on the info we know he would be borderline scholarship candidate for most D1 schools. He has a moderate college level 100m. A coach would look at him as someone who could definitely do the 50 and 60. After a year of tearing his training down and doing it like a sprinter maybe the 100 and some hurdles. With only 12.6 scholarships per team there would be debate on him for sure. So if someone wanted to take a chance on him he could get a spot and I think someone would. That means he barely makes into the 5000 or so D1 college track and field athletes in the USA every year. Compared to the 120-130 that represent the USA every 4 years. Trying to subjectively measure his closeness to be an Olympic level vs the other sprinters closeness to being an NFL wide receivers is virtually impossible. In the end DK is years of training from being an Olympic sprinter and given that same time at least some of them would be able to develop the skills necessary to become an NFL receiver. Given everyone’s age and choices to this point it would be difficult for DK or the sprinters to convince anyone to really give them a shot. So it’s all kinda irrelevant anyway. To be honest I’m getting bored of this topic at this point. So I leave the rest to all of you. Good luck and have fun.

Arms length? Over 3 tenths of a second? By that standard Adam Schefter is within arms length of being an NFL player because he ran 5.0 or 5.1 40. Tenths of a second are massive in all racing sports. It is the difference between everyday college athletes and Olympians.

Just to compare Zach Wilson and Justin Fields ran a 4.44 40 They are considered duel threat quarterbacks Mac Jones ran a 4.79 40 He is apparently a statue

He was Impressive and is a freakish athlete but a better athlete then the guys he raced against? At football yes. At sprinting no. I’d say the guy who ran 100m in under 10 seconds and won is a freakish athlete as well.

He ran like a football player. He trains to run short bursts. Ten seconds or 100m is way more then he would ever need to run on a football field in one play. He was right there with them for the first 50m or maybe a bit more. If he wanted to be an Olympic runner, sprinter or long distance, he could but then he would have to work another job and live off a stipend instead of the millions he will make in the NFL.

NICE!

I’ve had more success treating him like an elusive back. He hasn’t been getting many broken tackles or trucks the past couple days in all madden seasons. Trying out Steven Jackson for the extra strength and size.
