Login Thursday, play the monday set of games, update, play 1 Wednesday opponent. This way you have until sunday, unless you have time to complete them. That's how I've been doing it... still sucks, but it's more bearable

Dont hop onto online too soon, especially weekend league. Playing offline can be tedious but you'll save yourself a lot of headache
