Yep. It’s just not working, I even tried adjust my lineup in solo battles (and can select madden nfc playbook from there) but in game, SF offense it is 😂 Well it’s pretty good but why even put these alternate madden offenses in game if you can play them in online- or is it just problem in my ps5 🤯

I had months break from H2H for reasons I have highlighted before (online is just arcade nowadays; nickel with 4 SS is best defense against everything, base defense (except 3-4 blitz package) is useless and zone 94-96 actually can’t cover anything and 96 contain DEs doesn’t contain anything). I made comeback; same shot and even worse. Derrick Henry (or few uses Hurts) scrambles all over the field and passes 40y crossing routes (you can adjust covers to 30) and 98 Ty Law stands helpeless underneath with no one to cover. On offense, opposite put 3 lineman’s and 4-6 safeties-> I put pistol 2 rb 2 te formation and get killed by Mayes, Chancellor etc. There is incentive to put money in the game, for obvious reasons. In past I have done that, because I have more money than time. This year has been abysmal from EA so I stopped very early and I decided to give change now and then, or this might be my last year. I almost would argue that my spending history also effect somehow how the team works after I quit spending. This year was year for stats; could EA open them… what is a avg passing yards per attempt for Henry? Put crostats; best online gamers- most used defense (3-3 nickel?) and most used passing plays? It’s really a enjoy to play normal h-h game, where both used different formations and play football; from my 10 games from these two days; there was one. One! 9 where spamming same plays defense and offense rolling and deep crosses… it is actually sad.

But I you can have him SS and user control him in sublb and abuse maddens poor blocking scheme… good guess that Mays will be most tackles for negative yards for a while…

After 7 games I have gathered 3 DNF; in 2 I have been leading 14+ points and one game crashed on end game stats screen. Now, with luck I could get 200k points if there is no more problems- but who believes? Before recent batch- not a single problem (with this). Game is 2 months old and its still ”in progress”. EA should really think option, where they actually do New game every other or third year (because they now sell old game as new- with some non important new features). They could every easily cash “new season pass” every year and add some features like cod, bf etc. And it would be honest and they could really divide development to “new game” and “old version upgrades”… That what I would definitely think is best for this yearly madden excuses show. And yes, I might have some irl experience.
