Oh, I think I know this one. I use it in 2x2 formations where the outside receiver runs a comeback and the slot receiver runs the post...only to see the FS go outside just as the receiver breaks inside for the post. I never knew it was related to max protect though.

Is it ok to hold X and R1 at the same time for catches into traffic? Because I suspect, especially on passes over the middle, I fumble because I'm holding X for the catch, which then becomes an unintentional stiff arm...which causes the fumble upon contact.
