Yea SM been robbed of 2PT plays. I've been playing since 2015 and I've always find running to be easier than passing because my HBs never fumble and you can't get intercepted if the ball isn't in the air. I haven't had the need to change my style of running since 2015 so I don't understand why people have trouble running this year. In fact my running has been better since the SM ability has been introduced it's so broken.

I run 90% of the time and it's a joke. You can turn on a dime and zig zag between defenders with basically any HB and a 90 speed is more than enough to get at least a first down every 4 plays. I can also truck anybody who gets in my way with the OP smashmouth ability if I don't feel like moving my left thumb. I'm currently rocking legend Mack Strong at FB and he puts everyone to sleep.
