If you want to understand where you stand as a consumer legally, this article is a good place to start. https://kotaku.com/remember-electronic-arts-wont-let-you-sue-them-either-5843178 My 2 cents: Those suits are great for stirring attention but EA will likely file a motion to compel arbitration and succeed, since all users do technically agree to that under TOS. Here is an opinion discussing this issue a few years ago in the S.D. NY. https://www.leagle.com/decision/infdco20150324f39 The Court agreed with EA that the consumer needed to go through arbitration. However, in that case the Court stayed the legal proceedings (temporary halt) pending the results of arbitration. Essentially, the Court said that if the arbitration left the consumer unsatisfied he may be able to seek recourse through the legal system and they would evaluate the merits of his claim then, but it was not guaranteed by any means. I won't link the other cases, as most have quickly been dismissed along similar lines, but they have actually dismissed the claims rather than issuing a stay pending arbitration.

Yo, the terms of service is unsurprisingly not easy to comprehend. You are pointing people to a website, not the terms of service itself. We do not agree to be legally bound to all posts on EA's website when we make an account, we are bound to the terms of service. In fact, the article (August 20, 2020) precedes the latest update to the terms of service (Sept. 8, 2020). Here is a link to the actual rules that we are bound by: http://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC#section6 Most issues (coin selling, trading between accts) can be found in the following prohibition from Section 6: "Sell, buy, trade or otherwise transfer or offer to transfer your EA Account, any personal access to EA Services, or any EA Content associated with your EA Account, including EA Virtual Currency and other Entitlements, either within an EA Service or on a third-party website, or in connection with any out-of-game transaction, unless expressly authorized by EA." However, many of us that were banned recently stems from high volume on the auction house. I found one provision potentially relevant to this situation, and to me, its a long-shot on their end. The TOS prohibits the: "Use or distribute unauthorized software programs or tools (such as "auto", "macro", hack or cheat software), or use exploits, bugs or problems in an EA Service to gain unfair advantage." Now, I think the big issue many of us have is that we simply used the application they developed & the tools they created on it, and now we are being told our use of the app is equal to using an exploit, bug, or problem to gain an unfair advantage. Its bananas. Anyway, at least read the rules before you go around telling everyone how simple they are.

Bro, thank you. I watched this Friday and was belly laughing. I had all but forgotten about this movie but damn, the last thirty seconds of that clip is hall-of-fame stuff. "the circuits could still be reconstructed if somebody worked at it, we gotta bury it in the hahhbar"

PSA: you are me circa November 2020 lol. I was banned Friday despite never buying coins/farm/bro I've never even made a trade. I am guilty of selling prob 40 82 campus hero cards on Thursday through the app. I heard skipping the puzzles could get you in trouble so I made sure never to skip them. Even if you don't believe me, just be careful with app usage.

I'm over it. Filed my complaint with EAHelp but I'm not hopeful. I'm more irritated about being cast as a cheater than I am about every playing the game again at this point. I'll push this to arbitration if need be, and you can bet I'm filing consumer complaint with the BBB and my State

Hey man, good work. I've gotta say its been eye-opening few days. Crazy to think I could spend $1k+ on a game to have it wiped away on a whim. I would just say please trust me when I say I was unjustifiably banned. I saw all the bans last month and continued to spend money because I thought it was all good as long as I followed the rules. I was wrong, and look like a damn FOOL for spending money on a game that is (1) worthless in real life and (2) that can be entirely revoked at will. Please keep in mind brother!

Yup. Been playing it the last month of so. A ton more fun honestly. The games are more fun, and fairly matched—and surprisingly I’ve enjoyed tinkering with building a SC team way more than building a super team due to the constant need to add gamechanging players for 400k+. Best tip I could give to someone starting a SC team is to make 80 OVR TOTW Pollard the starting point. Lowest cap value for a RB with 89 speed. Good luck!
