There will be an in-depth answer coming in the dev mailbag on how power works.   In terms of 99s vs 98s and OVR boosts: This was a purposeful design by the team. Currently, the tech in the game does not allow 99s to receive OVR boosts. Its relative.  Giving up X for Y in return.  If you'd rather have Y then X then go for it.  If you prefer to keep your X and let EA keep their Y that's fine too.  There is no right or wrong way.  Its dependent on the individual. When it becomes a problem if there is an addiction attached.  Where you are making significant sacrifices for a digital content.  That, I do not agree with.

probably a little late for this suggestion but now that we know not all crystal eggs will contain CL players, it would have been cool to have a CL boom or bust pack. For those of us who aren’t interested in “crystal tier” rewards, or those who won’t get to 100 frags, it would be nice to use our crystal fragments on a boom or bust pack with a chance to pull a CL.    Maybe theres a chance we see it but I'm doubting it.
