For 2007, I very much enjoyed Paranormal Activity. It captured the same lighting in a bottle of Blair Witch Project where they created a story that people could 100% believe actually happened. Later iterations kinda fell off but the first movie was really something special. Found footage is one of my favorite types of horror and there has been a ton of work surrounding it from independent creators, and Paranormal Activity is in part responsible for spurring this awesome genre.
