I voted for Wait and see. Not much you can do for improving from 79OVR. I guess you already have some 80 or 81 elites in your lineup so just wait for new players with higher OVR to come in play. The AH needs to be full of 85 OVR cards for you to "really" improve the OVR.   Just make coins, rep and cash with the achievements and wait for interesting promos to get you free players.

I really hope it doesn't keep rising for "each" level. I'm already starting to regret spending coins for each level. By the time I've got Embiid MM to level 79 I could probably have purchased an Elite with better stats in the AH.   EA should give it a thought, if the level upgrades are so expensive I doubt anyone would want to, and you can't even auction him later on so your stuck with a player that can reach max 82 OVR. I have no doubt that in a couple of months almost everybody will have some 82 OVR elites which are just as good or better having spent much less coins.

Yesterday I bought the 5th showdown pack to unlock the Thunder Roll event but to my surprise it was only to unlock a purchase in the store for Harden 80 + nba cash. I already had Harden 80 OVR going the other way round with the Blitz Roll event. So I just wasted 250k of Rep for nothing. :-x   I thought this was necessary to progress towards the 83 OVR Harden. Aarrgghhh!
