This game has less and less to do with American Football. Glitzy "modern" graphics, game modes for players who just escaped infancy....where is the real football in this game? I remember when I used to FLY from Germany to the US in the early 90s to get the latest Madden (or NCAA Football) for my console (of course modded so it could play NTSC games which usually wouldn't run on the European PAL consoles). 4 days of non-stop gaming with my buddies during a memorable Easter weekend. These days...it takes less than 10 minutes to do the chores. It doesn't really matter if you understand football or not. Audibles? Nope. Real defense strategies? Nope. At least the counter cards gave you some kind of options. It's good to take away cheese plays though as they always made games less desirable. In any case...I already know the next release of MM will be an utter disappointment.

Do you have any news if and when new Gauntlet iconics will be added? I have Bosa already and don't need Gronk. The OG will push my approx. 200pts ahead but if others are coming up I might wait a bit longer. Thank you!

Too late. I already picked up Wentz.

In my experience you can feel a difference in the secondary. OT not so much at the early stages of the game but right now my 77 speed 100 OT can't hold a block longer than a nanosecond when facing a 105 DE with 99 speed. You have to decide for yourself. Basically I was saying that Wentz was a waste. Not because he's a bad card but because any easy to obtain card (e.g. my 99 Aaron Rodgers) will play equally well.

I picked him up 2 days ago as my second MF GM and I have to say it was a complete waste. I should have picked the LB, OT or S instead. He replaced 99 Aaron Rodgers and I have to say that there is absolutely no noticeable difference in gameplay. Wentz doesn't feel like 99 speed and his throws are just on and off the mark including his share of picks in OD. Not a bad card but I'm sure many other QBs play just as well (or bad). I feel that his throws travel a bit slow but this might be influenced with my disappointment due to the lack of improvement over Rodgers. So if you have grinded as hard as me to get the first or second GM....don't waste your points on him and get someone who really will improve your roster.

Yes, SB Cam is nice but when I said "I don't have many coins" I've meant "not any coins". So like Davis he's out of the picture. I only have a 93 OVR team as I just started end of November with my team after more than a year break from Madden. Surely the upcoming 97 H2H Masters will have better stats but we don't know who they are and there are not so many affordable Vert TEs who are better than what I already have.

I can't comment on Dawkins' gameplay. Some of his stats looks really good (e.g. 99 AWR) but I would be a bit concerned by his "low" speed of 90. Personally I still like speed on defense.
